Margaret Delp

Attorney at Law

Margaret Delp opened her Whidbey Island law office in 2009. Her practice focuses on elder law, including estate planning, trusts, probate, Medicaid planning, and end-of-life issues. She also assists small businesses with entity formation, leases and contracts.

During Margaret's early career, she worked for various governmental and nongovernmental organizations including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, American Rivers, and during law school, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. Margaret received her law degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 1993, and a B.S. in Accountancy from Villanova University in 1990.

Margaret loves Whidbey Island for its natural beauty and its compassionate, supportive community. Margaret shops at Good Cheer, supports the public schools, acclaims the Citizens Against Domestic & Sexual Abuse (CADA), and loves to garden and hike.

Margaret is committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive environment where everyone is respected and valued. Giving Back

Margaret believes strongly in giving back to the Whidbey Island community. She has served on the board of directors for the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Island County and Island Senior Resources. She currently serves on the board of directors of the South Whidbey Parks and Aquatics Foundation. Margaret also provides pro bono and discounted representation to low income clients.


Lilya Roraback

Law Clerk

Lilya Roraback graduated from Western New England University School of Law in Massachusetts, where she participated in the Small Business Clinic and the Discrimination Clinic as part of her studies. Her studies further included Trust and Estate Planning.

Prior to attending law school, Lilya studied Spanish at Seattle University and the University of Barcelona in Spain, where she received her B.A. in Spanish. She has worked in a law firm setting for several years, both with English and Spanish speaking clients.

Lilya is thrilled to be joining Margaret as a law clerk to help clients with their estate planning needs.

She is committed to her Whidbey Island community, where she volunteers on the Board of Trustees for her neighborhood’s HOA, and is passionate about supporting small local businesses.
